About Me

I began my first novel on the back deck one summer when I was twelve years old. It was then I realized just how much work writing a book can be, and wouldn’t attempt to do so again until over ten years later.

Looking back, it seems inevitable that I would try writing a book at that early age. I was reading an average of 5-7 books a week back then, and anyone who reads so much at that age is bound to be bit by the writing bug at some point.

That being said, I can’t say that I’ve always wanted to write. The desire to create came later. What really stands out during those early years, and even today, is how much I loved visiting bookstores and libraries. I loved the atmosphere, the sense of endless possibilities. What magnificent new worlds would I uncover when searching the shelves? That excitement still drives me, and has transformed into wanting to create my own stories, to provide the same sense of wonderment for another generation of readers.
